Terms & conditions

1. Who we are

This website is operated by [YOUR LEGAL BUSINESS NAME], registered at [STREET ADDRESS], [CITY, POSTCODE, COUNTRY], company number [NUMBER], VAT/registration [VAT NUMBER]. You can contact us at [YOUR EMAIL].

These terms apply to every order placed through this website. By placing an order you confirm you have read and agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not order.

2. The contract between us

Everything on this site is an invitation to buy, not an offer. The contract forms in two steps:

  • You submit an order or a custom design brief — this is your offer.
  • We accept it by sending an order confirmation, or for custom pieces, by sending your fixed quote and stone photographs and receiving your written approval.

If we cannot accept your order — for example because a stone is no longer available, or because we do not believe we can make the piece well — we will tell you and take no payment.

3. Prices, taxes and payment

  • Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and exclude customs duties and import taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • We may change prices at any time, but the price confirmed in your order confirmation is the price you pay.
  • Payment is taken by our third-party payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Custom orders may require a 50% deposit before production begins, with the balance due before dispatch. This will always be stated in your quote.
  • If a payment fails or is reversed, we may pause or cancel the order and recover any goods already dispatched.
  • Obvious pricing errors (for example a piece listed at a fraction of its true value) do not bind us. We will contact you before charging anything.

4. Custom and made-to-order pieces

When you send a design brief, you are asking us to quote — not placing a binding order. Nothing is charged until you approve the quote and the stones.

  • We will confirm your stone, size, finish, extras and price in writing before production.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, particularly sizing and engraving text. Engraving is produced exactly as you type it, including spelling. We will re-confirm the text with you before cutting.
  • Production times run from the date you approve the quote, not the date you submitted the brief.
  • Custom and personalised pieces are final sale and cannot be returned, for the reasons set out in our Shipping & returns policy. If a finished piece does not match what you approved, we will remake it or refund it in full.

5. Natural stones

Our stones are natural and, unless stated otherwise, untreated. Natural materials vary in colour, tone, veining, inclusions and exact dimensions. Photographs are taken under neutral light but screens differ, and a stone may look slightly different in person.

This natural variation is a characteristic of the product, not a defect, and is not grounds for a return on a custom piece. It is exactly why we photograph the actual stones for your approval first.

We make no medical, therapeutic or health claims about any stone. Any associations or meanings described on this site are traditional and cultural, are not scientifically established, and are provided for interest only. Nothing on this site is medical or psychological advice.

6. Shipping, duties and risk

  • Dispatch and delivery estimates are set out in our Shipping & returns policy. Estimates are not guarantees.
  • Duties, import taxes and customs handling fees are your responsibility and are not included in the price or shipping charge.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel is lost in transit, we will pursue the carrier and replace or refund the order.
  • We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier strikes, customs action, natural events or public health restrictions.
  • You must provide an accurate delivery address. If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange redelivery at your cost.

7. Cancellations and returns

Your rights are set out in full in our Shipping & returns policy. In summary: ready-to-ship pieces may be returned within 30 days unworn; custom and personalised pieces are final sale; and where the law gives you a statutory right of withdrawal or repair, replacement and refund — including under EU Directive 2019/771 and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 — that right applies in addition to our policy and is not limited by it.

8. Content you send us

When you send a design brief, reference image or message, you confirm that you own it or have the right to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property or other rights.

You grant us a limited licence to use that content only to produce and deliver your order and to keep the record needed to remake or match it. We will not publish your content or use it in our marketing without your separate, specific permission.

We reserve the right to decline any brief that asks us to copy another maker's protected design, or to produce content that is unlawful, hateful or infringing.

9. Our intellectual property

All site content — photography, product designs, text, graphics and layout — is owned by us or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, design and trade mark law. You may not reproduce, resell or use it commercially without our written permission. Linking to our site is fine.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or opportunity. Nothing on this site is a promise of a particular commercial result.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR COUNTRY/JURISDICTION], and the courts of [YOUR JURISDICTION] have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protections of the country in which you live, and may bring proceedings in your local courts.

Before anything formal, please email us — almost everything is resolved in a single message.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are those in force on the date we accepted it. The "last updated" date above always shows the current version.
