From the source

We buy the rough stone ourselves.

Most crystal jewellery passes through three or four sets of hands before it reaches you — a lot of margin added, and nobody left who can tell you where the stone actually came from. We buy rough direct from the cutting houses and set it ourselves. That is the whole difference, and it is why a stone from us costs what a mass-produced piece does at retail.

Why it matters to you

Four things that change when nobody is in the middle.

The route

From rough ground to your hands.

The rough travels a long way before it becomes jewellery. Here is every step, and who touches it.

Cutting and polishing take place in — . Raw material is sourced from .

From the bench

We film the parts most sellers leave out: the stones we reject, the settings that go wrong, the ones we remake at our own cost. If a stone is not good enough for the piece you asked for, you will hear it from us before we cut anything.

The archive

Straight from the workshop.

Rough stone, the cutting bench, and finished pieces — photographed and filmed as they happen, not staged afterwards.

Due diligence

Seven questions worth asking any crystal seller.

Including us. Screenshot this and send it to whoever you are considering buying from — the answers tell you more than any product photo.

Ask themOur answer
Where did this stone come from? Rough is sourced from and worked in . We will name the source for the specific piece you are buying.
Can I see the actual stone before it is set? Yes. We photograph the real stones at the bench and wait for your approval. Not a stock image, not a “typical sample”.
Is the stone treated, dyed or stabilised? Untreated unless stated. Where heat treatment applies — citrine and some amethyst — we say so in the first line of the listing.
Do you claim it will heal me? No. We describe tradition and culture, never treatment. Crystal healing is not supported by evidence and we will not pretend otherwise to make a sale.
Who actually cuts and sets it? The same two pairs of hands, in one workshop. No unnamed factory in the chain.
What happens if it arrives wrong? If the finished piece does not match what you approved, we remake it or refund it in full — including shipping.
What is marked on the parcel? Accurate country of origin, plus the manufacturer's name and address — as customs and product-safety law require. Nothing is under-declared or marked as a gift.

Provenance record

On the record.

These are the details that go on your paperwork and your parcel. We publish them rather than hiding them behind a contact form.

Import duties and taxes are set by your country and are not included in our prices. See shipping & returns.

Questions about sourcing.

Does buying direct actually make it cheaper?

It removes the margin that importers, wholesalers and distributors each take. We put most of that back into the grade of stone and the rest into keeping our prices near what mass-produced pieces cost at retail — rather than into a boutique markup.

Is “from the source” just marketing?

It can be, which is why we publish the specifics instead: the rough sources, the cutting district, the manufacturer named on your parcel, and photographs of your actual stones. If a claim is not checkable, it is not worth making.

Are your stones ethically sourced?

We buy from established lapidary suppliers we buy from repeatedly, and we ask where material originates. We are a small workshop and we do not claim formal third-party certification we do not hold — if you need certified chain-of-custody documentation for a specific stone, tell us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether we can provide it.

Why does the parcel say the country of origin so plainly?

Because that is the law. US Customs and EU product-safety rules require accurate origin and manufacturer marking, and we would rather comply up front than have your parcel held. It also means you always know what you are buying and from whom.

Can I visit or see the workshop?

If you are ordering at volume or working on a project, get in touch — we will arrange a video call at the bench. We film there constantly, so it is not a secret.
